FAQ

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! Click here to schedule an intake appointment.

What is the intake process?
  1. Tell me what kind of therapy you are looking for and what your therapy goals are
  2. Schedule an intake appointment
  3. Complete intake paperwork in my client portal
  4. Attend intake appointment and make a plan for regular therapy sessions
Do you provide telehealth?

I only provide telehealth services when in-person sessions are not an option, for example inclement weather or illness.

Is your office handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, my office is only accessible via a flight of stairs and does not have an elevator. If my practice seems like a good fit for you but the stairs are a barrier to attending in-person sessions, I am happy to offer telehealth services instead.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I take Aetna and Cigna. I also see self-pay clients and am happy to provide a “superbill,” which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.

Will insurance cover couples therapy?

Most insurance plans only cover couple therapy if one partner carries an individual diagnosis that deems couple therapy “medically necessary.” This means that premarital counseling and couple therapy focused on improving communication will likely be an out-of-pocket expense.

How much does therapy cost?

My self-pay fee for a 50-minute couple or family therapy session is $170. My fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $150.
